Lemme recap my early weekends, on Friday after i knocked off from work..

After bball went home to take a quick shower while lihui checked for some movie tickets at amkhub. There was some waiting here and there, we missed our movie timeslot and we decided to head to Jia's house to play mini mahjong. I was supposed to tag with lihui, before i could do something i was fast asleep on the bed. Yes that's how we bunked over at her place that night. Sat we caught 4bia at cineleisure, Sunday was practically rotting. Phy hates rainy days. - Stares at monsoon season.. and wonder if someone is doing raindance at the other end of the world. Well at least Mom and i had a great chat before she decided to kick me off from her room to talk to her friend over the phone. It's been quite some time since i spend time at home, spend time talking to her, spend time petting my rabbits(they have been fighting a lot recently i had to seperate them), spend time slugging on the sofa watching mtv, and missing out on the olympics.. Sigh, time is precious, definitely realized it since i'd started working. With all the lil' few pathetic hours you have upon reaching home, and worrying if your night life will affect your work the next morning. You'll start appreciating weekends like you never had before. duh. Hate that.

And so on friday, when we were outside amkhub about 1plus am.. i saw this old lady, not exactly that fragile but maybe around her sixties. She was sorting out some trash behind this dark alley near the carpark(you know those with lots of cockroaches). She was alone, and there were many many bags of trash.. My heart sank, with all the reasons why she was there in such hours, and why is she doing that.. Aint all elderly suppose to be tugged into bed by then? For that moment i felt so sympathetic to her.. I wish i could help, but i dont know how, helping her sort out the trash? She would feel that i'm crazy or too busybody, or some asshole with too much time to spare. Closing line, DONT ABANDON THE ELDERLY.
