Sunday was lantern day. Was out with the usual few whom i always spend mooncake festival with :) But it was some kinda different from any other mooncake day. Woke up pretty early in the morning and went over chanel's house to prepare food stuff for our picnic at east coast park. YES PICNIC! So cute right i love my clique :)

They fished out plenty of hermit crabs all ranging in different sizes. I brought 1 large, 2 med, 4 small hermit crabs home. Wanted to bring to the office to keep them as pets. Happily i left the crabs alone over the coffee table and went to sleep. The next morning i went to check out on my crabs - 1 medium one was missing! i suspect it crawled out by climbing on top of the big one because the shell is really huge and protruding. Frantic me search all over the place for a tiny hermit but to no avail. Went to work as usual, bringing the remaining crabs i've got.

After work kenny and i went over to PS to find his samsung phone, had dinner, then headed to Pasir ris park to collect sand and shells for the hermits. It was pretty dark so we only collected seawater and sand and went back into the car. Upon reaching home i kinda sensed something amiss near my rabbits' cage. I went over and guess what i saw! My medium size hermit crab! So SEXCITED! I pick it up and see there's no hermit inside the shell! my face turned :S

I cleaned the whole rabbit cage and found no traces of the hermit. Could it been naked without a shell running around my living room? But i doubt its survival either. Kenny told me hermit crabs wouldnt leave their holy shell unless they found better shells. Ok, XFILES. Someone please help me solve the mystery of, the naked hermit.
